Good article 👍
Biggest 1 or 2 spot reach in the history of the nhl.
Krueger / Adam's should have been fired on the spot.
🤔
So what if he turns out to be Ovechkin, we should have moved down ......
Happy 2021 - Boss34

Filthy. I hope he gets a real chance at making the team.

Locks- (9)
Eichel, Hall, Reinhart, Staal, Skinner, Olofsson, Eakin, Girgs, Okposo,
Fighting for 4 spots-
Reider, Lazar, Sheahan, Tage, Cozens, Mitts, Ruotsalainen, Asplund, Quinn
IMO, of course |

I’ll just say this ranking is interesting but I don’t know how much stock I’d put into it.
But it has Allen as the #4 QB for wins above replacement this year
The really low ranking of guys like Watson has me skeptical though - sbroads24
That chart sucks- and i mean like utter dogsh!t
Rivers that high? Baker & Ben that high?
Dalton & Cam over Watson & Murray?
BS like this is exactly why Analytics can’t be counted on as gospel |

Asplund in group 2 isn’t a good start.
And cozens will most likely make it. Sending him back to juniors would be basically pointless development wise. He has literally nothing else to prove at that level |

I tend to agree
Cozens should probably be a “lock”
I’m just not taking it for granted at the moment bc he’s not even in Camp yet
It would be a surprise if he doesn’t at least get a 9game tryout
Did u see the Canada WJ game tonight?
Was Quinn playing with Cozens the whole game?
I only saw highlights |

Cozens skating is very good, I am looking forward to seeing where Krueger puts him.
A Hall Eichel Cozens line would be hard to keep up with, they all can fly |

Quinn’s looked fine but they may regret not taking Lundell, who is outstanding and has a man’s body. I think they really wanted Sanderson, but he was picked before them. They were right - he’s outstanding - turbo044
Sanderson was the number one player on their board. |

Agreed on Cozens. He's a lock.
Asplund is AHL bound.
Quinn is not nearly ready yet.
That leaves Tage, Mittelstadt, Ruotsalainen, Rieder, Lazar, and Sheahan for 3 spots.
Unless Mittelstadt is lights out, I believe he's AHL bound again.
As much as they talk about loving Rieder's so called PK prowess, he's really a taxi squad player.
I know they like Lazar, but I'm not convinced he's more than a 13th forward.
That would leave the last 3 spots to Sheahan, Tage, and Ruotsalainen, which would make the composition of the forward lines very interesting.
Hall - Eichel - Olofsson
Skinner - Staal - Reinhart
Ruotsalainen - Eakin - Cozens
Girgensons - Sheahan - Okposo (a strong veteran line)
Extras: Tage, Lazar
I'd be pleasantly shocked if they did the above. |

Most say that Beane had a hell of a draft, man this rookie class has been impressive. |

If the $175 Cap turns out to be true, he will to need another stellar draft hitting on rds 1-3 for starters/significant contributors, and a couple solid rotational players.
But, we have football today to fill the hockey void!! |

Yes he will, could see them going heavy D, 1 bright spot, looks like that kid Dana Jackson CB they got in the 7th is a keeper. |

Pretty decent lineup considering the crap in the middle 6 last season.
Obviously Hall signed to play with Eichel as a means go drive his production to high-end status, but I keep thinking him and Jack like the puck on their stick and both drive play for their lines...therefore I wonder if we see a switch with Skinner at some point. |

Agreed, but also think they target O-line somewhat early.
I could see them going heavy in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
They certainly need to address the run D somehow, even with Star coming back |

I think they will bring Quinn in. Just to get a taste of what Buffalo and the organization is like.
Not sure if that makes sense or not |

The second line of Skinner - Hall - Reinhart is light years better then any 2nd line in recent memory.
Combine that with the top line and the 4th line of Girgensons - Lazar/Sheahan - Okposo and they have 3 real quality lines for the first time in who knows how long. |

Bring him in for what though?
Camp will be all but over by the time team Canada is done playing and the quarantine is done.
You're thinking they bring Quinn in to be on the taxi squad? |

Bring him into buffalo for a few practices and stuff. Just give him a taste and show of the facility and meet the staff
It’s not like the ohl or juniors will be playing or even practicing at this time. |

Well that's it, until you find a place for him to play, rather have him here atleast skating and stuff. |

Makes sense to give him a look...especially if his Junior league is delayed starting. |

Yeah but you are also showing him the faculties, meeting Adams / Ralph, and just showing Quinn what the nhl is all about.
Cozens got that taste during last preseason.
Obviously a different situation / different times |

This is what I think they’ll do:
Hall-Eichel-Olofsson
Skinner-Staal-Reinhart
Girgensons-Eakin-Cozens
Tage-Lazar-Okposo
