Of course, I hope he scores a bunch.
IMO, if he goes 7 games, in a good tournament without really even looking like a goal scoring threat, it's a red flag. - sbroads24

How about we let Quinn mature another year or two before we right him off.
Ryan Johnson has impressed me, really turned a corner this year. See if he can put himself into the LD discussion next year. |

It’s not even remotely comparable to mention Germany and Austria in the same sentence. Not even close. That’s a laughable comparison.
As far as your math. Thanks for taking it slow and proving absolutely nothing again. Rossi and Quinn produced the same against good teams and Rossi murdered bad teams. That’s what players usually do
You know, like how Canada scored a ton against the lesser teams. You get how that works, right? - sbroads24
Good players don't have a massive drop in production against good teams. Nobody had that big of a drop compared to him. It's a huge issue with Rossi. Numerous scouts brought it up and why some even preferred Quinn over him. |

No way Zary has looked better. He's struggled with physical play and has turned it over a bunch. I'd put Tomasino on par with Quinn's play and Mercer better than those two so far. - RawDog
Hey Bra!! Reasonable debate and factual comments have no place here. Please leave and come back with homer comments only. Homer after homer after homer comments ONLY.
Cant wait till the day where we see Quinn possible be better Rossi and all these same stand up guys come on here and say “ I knew it ever since he hurdled over Girgensens after Girgs fell over himself “ only to spend the following 7 months B*tching about Girgs new 4 year 16mil contract. The future is bright!

I'm not writing him off.
I'm also not going to sugarcoat an underwhelming performance and do mental gymnastics to pretend he was better than he was.
If you want we can talk about how great Cozens has been, even though it means nothing and he just scores a lot on bad teams or something |

Crazy thing about him is that his frame is no where close to being filled. Guy has at least 20 more pounds he can put on. He's got a huge ceiling. |

Dude you just oddly put a lot of stock in a small sample size WJC. Like you must've thought Casey was going to be the next McDavid 2 years ago. |

Yes, they do. All the time.
Jack Eichel against Ottawa and New Jersey last season
6 games 12 points
Was he a 2 PPG player against the rest of the league?
This is such a silly point |

Quinn. Johnson has some room left on his frame too though. Both aren't finished products physically yet. |

I hear you there, but after the 1st game he was given more of a defensive responsibility in my opinion. |

Both still kids, that is the 1 thing I don't like about the NHL, they draft these kids a year or 2 early. |

And how did Jack play against good teams?
7 pts in 4 games against Toronto
4 pts in 4 games against Tampa
3 pts in 2 games against St. Louis
4 pts in 2 games against Vancouver
3 pts in 2 games against Dallas
Turns out Jack still produces at a similar rate against good teams too. I like the mental gymnastics you're doing to show that massively underperforming against good teams isn't an issue. |

I dont think I've ever been this confident about a Buffalo sports team as I am about these Bills. I'm already hoping that the Steelers can pull it out against the Browns because if they only have to beat the Colts and Steelers to get to KC, that's a cake walk. This week doesn't even factor for me |

Rossi will be playing in Minnesota this year.
Quinn is 2 years away at best from wearing a
Sabres jersey. |

Rossi would not be playing in Buffalo this year. Think that speaks more about the team then player....

Do you really no think his PPG is better against under .500 teams than over .500 teams?
