Eichel is the obvious candidate but that will push his minutes up near 25 and expose him to injury. I dont love that idea. That leaves Olofsson, Cozens and Thompson
Hall, Skinner, Reinhart and Okposo are not PKers - jcragcrumple
staal is older slower and was still the top line center for minnesota so i could see them not wanting to use him in that role and i don't like us doing it either.. i can't see cozens being a good option that young and although olof did it in the AHL i don't know how good he will be in the NHL.. we better not ever take any penalties

The PK forwards really better not take penalties or Eichel and Staal are going to be out there together. This is why I think Sheahan and Lazar are locks to make the team which people are going to hate. And one of Thompson, Olofsson or Cozens is going to have to do it to keep Okposo in the lineup instead of Rieder

He's almost 70 years old - jochfr
"... Frank, you hang out with Eric Staal. Just between me and you, how old is Eric Staal?" Know what Frank told me? He said "Hey, Eric Staal is a hundred thirty-seven years old." A hundred and thirty-seven years old!"

Sheahan used to be a pretty decent hockey player. Not sure how he's been the last couple years.

Speaking as a center leaning Democrat, the Dems have to be smart here, and not greedy. But can they control themselves a bit? - Powerslave
It is all wide friggin open to do exactly what they want.
No excuses, can push their own agenda...I'll wait to see how far the wacko far-left exerts influence.

I wouldn’t mind to put someone a little more responsible defensively on that 3rd line. Maybe swap Reinhart and cozens. Wont make the Reinhart lovers happy. - ZiggyBuff
With how the Skinner - Staal - Reinhart line has looked all camp, and what that line means to the Sabres regarding how strong a 2nd line that is, it feels like there is zero chance they are breaking that up now.
I think there's a giant difference in defensive ability between Cozens and Olofsson, and I'd much rather have Cozens helping Eakin and Thompson defensively then Olofsson.
