What i don't get is this: if he truly wants an offensive and defensive presence on every line, well ok, Reinhart is a defensive presence on that line. And Skinner is a speed presence on that line.

I dont speak fluent synergy, but I speak a little and it doesn't make sense to me

Monday at noon ET is the final opportunity for clubs to place players on waivers and have them clear prior to the submission of Opening Day Playing Rosters which are due the following day.

Therefore we will likely see an increase in players placed on waivers the next 3-4 days.

perhaps that was the plan all along as many suspected upon his hiring...i'm just not gonna lose my sh!t over anything that happens this preseason...

as he himself has mentioned, ralph has experience getting teams up to speed in a very short time...it's imperative the sabres come out of the gate and he's following his beliefs as to the best approach with what he has on hand...

we'll see

The NHL will be fine, just like every other major sports league. Pro sports leagues have smart people figuring these things out, hockey included.
