We get that a couple of you don't like Reinhart and Skinner but love Olofsson, but we all just want the Sabres to finally be a good team, and in order for that to happen, it would seem like the best way for that to happen would be to put the good players in the best position to succeed. Nothing more than that. - kingcong39
the best way for the season to be good this season is skinner putting up a boat load of goals as the second line winger
after being in the stadium yesterday, do you think the limited fans will help the bills if we play the steelers?
- homiedclown
I heard sound bites from the players & McDermott saying they loved having the fans there
But idk that the crowd noise (although noticeable) was anywhere near loud enough to affect the Steelers (or Ravens) in any way
It’s just too big of an area, unless they increase the number of fans
I may be going again this week, which would be quite awesome. It was a blast yesterday!
Quite the hangover though
We were allowed to stay at the stadium for quite a while after the game. We just continued partying & watched the Seattle game
Take away Skinners 40 goal season and he averages 28 goals per 82 games
It doesn’t matter
Take away that entire season. He is a 54 point per 82 games player.
Jeff Skinner is a very good offensive player.
His contract sucks. We know that.
His coach playing him with borderline NHL players not only makes himself look foolish it proves he has no idea how to piece together a solid lineup. - Stripes77
Coaches make moves for all different reasons.
You have no idea the situation or motivation that finds skimmer not on the 1st line.
Something is clearly up. Should the coach just bend the knee, because the player is well paid?
54 in 82 points is a 5.5 million $ guy or a 9 million $ guy that cashed in and is clearly not buying into the coaches system.
I'm not privy to info, but it's not as simple as dumb soccer coach, smart Florida referee. Its probably deeper ?
Well I guess we can agree OV’s defensive play has improved and he’s a slow learner. Took 2 years after Trotz left for it to sink in. We can only hope Skinner can learn quicker or he will be the best 4th line goal scorer ever and the highest paid.
