I have no issue with Skinner not playing with Eichel. I do have an issue with Skinner playing with those two borderline NHLers

Give me 28 goals playing with Staal and Reinhart and I’ll take that assuming VO or Tage scores decently 5 on 5 with Eichel.

Olofsson will get his goals on the PP I have no doubt about that his shot should be used all the time.

Whatever their beef is it needs to stop. Good coaches find a way to make it work with less than perfect pieces.

There isn’t a perfect player on this team. But to get them all going you have to be smarter.

After last season I wasn’t thrilled with Skinners usage and granted they didn’t have a second line center. Now they do and you move him to the 4th line? A good coach/communicator should be able to see both sides here and work towards some common ground to set the entire team up for success.

I'm not backing the current usage with scrubs, but it's just training camp.

I'm guessing everyone plays with everyone at some point, the 3rd line should be the bottom for skinner.

Scorers are streaky , what suprised me was the lack of use in 3 x 3 ot. That seems like the best time to use skins with all the open ice.

Johansson is no Ryan Miller as you compared him to and he is not going to be a Sabres goalie this year unless they have injuries and they are desperate.

Easier to prepare for than Indy though. Indy could pass and run and had a savvy qb. Ravens are pretty one dimensional, Jackson can be confused and will make mistakes. Edmunds will be busy
