A lot of interesting names on waivers today.
A lot of players that would be upgrades in the bottom 6 - Pegullaville
I can't find a good link to an updating waiver wire. What are you using? |

Honestly just looking at tweets from Friedman and others.
I’m sure Cap Friendly will have a full list up about who cleared and who didn’t tomorrow at 12 |

Olofsson had 13 primary points 5 on 5 - playing with Eichel a majority of the year
Skinner had 17 primary points this season is his awful, horrible, career worst shameful season.
|
|
|
|
Olofsson scored at an alarmingly low rate for Eichel’s line mate
And before someone compares that to Reinhart 4 years ago.....Eichel was in his 2nd season and not a superstar yet.
I’m still so confused as to what the point even is?
Keep all the bad players like Risto because they “buy in”? - sbroads24
Which bad players are we talking? And you way overvalue Skinner, undervalue VO and also undervalue Risto as well. You WAY overvalued Larsson and I'm going to wait for his Selke year or even nomination. There are some people who get things right and others not so much, but keep at it, you'll get there.

Most of the game is played 5 on 5
take away the power play points and where is VO? Same as Skinner except playing with Eichel instead of two boat anchors |

It could be
But Watkins was almost always hurt - Stripes77

fun - TheSabresTaco
I'm finalizing my draft board and I can't decide if I should take a chance and wait to pick up Erod in the 7th or should I go ahead and take him in the 3rd or 4th before anyone else can?
I know you're the competition so try to not to obfuscate your own natural interests here |

I know you are bitter that he took the anointed ones spot on the first line last year but he had no say in that and Jack had his best year. Whether that was because he was able to handle the puck more and Skinner didn't hog it, he was able to find a shooter, VO can pass himself, Jack didn't tremble about D coverage because Skinner is a sieve in that regard; Jack was psychologically happier because VO was on his line, I don't know but the anointed one stumbled BIG TIME as he has been know to do.
VO was on his way to getting close to the second Princes high point total in his career, some refer to him as SAM and have no problem calling him a first line player. Whether VO is a first line or 2nd line whatever he is another Sabres weapon that seems to be able to buy into the system, philosophy of the coach, boss and be a team player and help them win. 7th round picks most often often turn into nothing so I think we should all be happy we hit one out of the park there.

I won't be competing for Erod, I don't think I'd go for him until the 8th round, so I assume he'll be scooped up by then. I'd assume Boss will be picking him in the 2nd round.

How exactly am I undervaluing VO?
What have I said other than what is undeniable facts-
He didn’t produce 5 on 5 ✅
He stopped lighting it up on the PP when teams took his shot away âś…
He was bad defensively âś…
He’s a middle six winger who gets to ride shotgun to a superstar center. That’s it |

Hm. 4d chess. Perhaps I should draft Pominville in the hopes of a comeback and then offer him via trade for Erod. Lots to consider here |

At least Girgensons got hurt before I picked him in the first round.
That would have been a game changer for my team |

Some of us use facts and numbers to form an opinion
Others make up sincerely weird narratives they have absolutely no way of knowing

Id Trade VO.
Hes going to wear out his welcome very quick, IMO. |

I actually don’t mind him at all.
I don’t even care that he’s on line 1, spread the scoring
Eichel will drive the line regardless
They’re undeniably better with Skinner there though |

That's the thing, I don't care that he is playing with Eichel either
What I do care about is Skinner playing with borderline NHLers |

54 games 42 pts and 20 goals
you are the numbers guy project that to 82 games. I'm going to bet that you won't because it will not fit your narrative.
25 goals in a rookie year is a good bet though and not all on the PP. Psst, by the way, special teams does matter

If I could I would trade Skinner, he has divided us when we need to unify

I care about Skinner listening to his boss like the rest of us do no matter how much we make.
