gonna check out their first few albums when i get the chance...was listening left of the dial to a college radio station and they played something off of their first album and it was so anti-sappy couldn't believe it was them - Michael Pachla
They got corrupted by the 80’s like most 70’s bands. I used to listen to their live album from the 70’s back in the day. Forget the name of it and don’t feel like looking it up.
It’s like when people think Centerfold is representative of J. Geils Band

I never said the Devils “WANT” Hutton
Offering them a pick to take him off our hands is a possibility
Happens quite frequently now-a-days - jdfitz77
No one is "taking Hutton off our hands". No one.
We can't even afford to offer a pick.
We are going to be handcuffed by an archaic coaching style and our best path to the playoffs is getting lucky in a shortened season where a lot of teams and players are going to be going through the motions but on the other side, this benefits the older teams a lot, too. They will be fresh and the back-to-backs will benefit them.
Their strategy will be to outscore us in the first game and play the trap in the second game, forcing us to score.
Our owner thinks "all in" means signing Hall to a 1-year deal.
Our coach thinks we can have three scoring lines but favors old, slow and unskilled vets over younger players and "good locker room guys" over proven scorers.
We are going to suck. I hope to god I'm wrong but we are going to suck.
Hall might even be gone by the TDL. Why would Reinhart want to stay when they refuse to sign him long-term? Skinner would gladly waive to go to Seattle at this point, and if he isn't in Buffalo next year, book-it and put money on Seattle. Eichel will want out unless we not only make the playoffs but compete. We could realistically be going into next year with a core of Cozens, Quinn, Dahlin, Mittelstadt and Thompson.
Does Skinner strike u as that guy though?
He doesn’t for me - jdfitz77
Retrieving dump ins? No. Absolutely not. But lugging the puck in transition, yes. That would be his role on that line. Neither Reinhart nor Staal are that guy and I don't think Olofsson is either.
That line is going to struggle between the blue lines to set up possession in the o zone without someone with skating ability to carry the puck or bang some bodies after the dump in

I have no faith after the last decade. None. - 3rd GM's the charm
10 words about the topic at hand,
and then a rant about why u have no faith
Crappy players move teams all the time with the help of a pick
Many who have much worse contracts than Hutton as well
And YOU have no clue what the Jersey GM would think about taking Hutton

Here’s the thing though....
*and this applies to everyone b!tching about the lines, not just you*
The lines can, and will be, switched up throughout the season
The opening night roster is NOT set in stone guys

Normally around here the Hope Train is running full steam ahead. Lately I see more posts containing a reality check to varying degrees.
So, where's everybody at?
Give us your projected points and Divisional standing for the season.
Mine is 53 pts, 7th place.
Yours? - IonSabres
Eventually, you get to a point where you assume every move the team makes is the wrong one. The Bills were in that boat for a long, long time. The Sabres are there now.
I guess we are not allowed to talk about the Sabres lines anymore.
Is anyone keeping track of this? The list should automagically appear at the top of each comment page so we can check..it is quite long. - IonSabres
It’s not worth losing your minds about when we all know the lines will change up as the season moves along
AND i never said not to talk about it... DID I???
Just keep in mind that changes are likely to occur,
especially in a short season
So whether we hate the opening night lines,
or love them....
it’s not gonna be that way all year. It never is
Sounds like some incredible juggling by Julien BriseBois and #tblightning to put salary cap puzzle together.
A calculation by @CapFriendly says the Bolts got within $8,334 of the cap to maximize their LTIR spending ability (on $98 million!).
But the Bolts were impacted by the #NHL's new LTIR enforcement for Opening Night, as we reported on Monday.
Because of that, both Tyler Johnson and Luke Schenn will not be in the lineup for the banner raising ceremony in Tampa. They can rejoin lineup for Game 2.
Think the Sabres have as good a chance as anyone. Every team is gonna struggle of the bat, it's the teams that put it together first in this shortened season.
We’re talking Sabres not broncos. Just joking but you do have it absolutely backwards. You’d be much happier liking the Bills and the Avalanche - turbo044
My entire moms side of the family are Broncos fans because of my Uncle.
It was something I was born into and was a team that I grew up watching.
Kind of just how the cookie crumbled.
Sabres were my choice though. I liked the jerseys, proximity to home as i live pretty much in between Toronto and Buffalo, and I loved the passion of the fan base and watching RJ call the games as a kid got me fired up.

I think we both know who was retrieving dump in's 😟
