Normally around here the Hope Train is running full steam ahead. Lately I see more posts containing a reality check to varying degrees.
So, where's everybody at?
Give us your projected points and Divisional standing for the season.
Mine is 53 pts, 7th place.
Yours? - IonSabres
The last 4 years have been the same "I feel good about this year" bull-crap. And even after the two 10-game win streaks, the realists were saying to pump the brakes.
They don't get the benefit of the doubt. 48 points and a top-5 pick. Complete organizational meltdown by the middle of March. |

I think the fanbase is about out of gas waiting for this dysfunctional organization to get its collective head out of its' ass and begin competing. It could get ugly for sure. I think with the amount of vets they brought in, hopefully they can hold it together and be fun / exciting to watch. I'm hot 3xprct8ng much other than that. |

LOVE London...we always watch the Youtube channel "Watched Walker" and his strolls around London. Would love to move there, but I'm guessing only the wealthy can afford it there ! - kritter65
It's a great city for tourists and the wealthy but like any major city it's hard without making lots of $$$
In the UK you have road tax and they keep increasing it for gas and diesel cars and making it so some cars can't go into different areas due to emissions. If you have an electric car you don't get taxed for it, and some places you don't have to pay for parking. And especially up north where people don't make much money and heating costs are hundreds a month people say it's a poor man's tax as regular Joe can't afford an electric car but keeps getting penalized with higher road tax and all while wealthy people get rewarded.
But yeah London is great for museums, architecture history and all but is very expensive |

10 words about the topic at hand,
and then a rant about why u have no faith
Crappy players move teams all the time with the help of a pick
Many who have much worse contracts than Hutton as well
And YOU have no clue what the Jersey GM would think about taking Hutton
PS. Skip the rant next time, it’s not necessary - jdfitz77
Devil's claimed Eric Comrie, a goalie, from waivers. They are going into the season with a very good goalie in blackwood and then have Wedgewood as backup who isn't great but it's not like the devil's are really going to compete this year so will probably look into Ufa market next offseason |

Ok
Just seemed like an option when Crawford bailed on u guys
Again though, Hutton is an NHL goalie unlike Blackwood, and we’d pay u a pick to take him potentially
Was just an idea i saw worthy of bringing up bc i want to upgrade over Hutton |

Blackwood isn't an NHL quality goalie?
I guess you haven't seen him play
I'll give you a hint, he was over .500 on a poopty devil's team last season |

It's definitely worth a visit, but living in/around London is pretty difficult if you don't have the money it demands |

I’m expecting him to play a lot of games this year.

I’m thinking they finish 6th - Pegullaville
they come out hot and win 10 of their first 15 games then go .500 for the next 25 games and then win about 3 of the remaining games... thats 52ish points |

6th is the realistic spot in my eyes.
If everything goes right though they challenge for the 4th playoff spot.

they got screwed with the division.. but if you want to win it all you have to beat good teams. |

Think it depends on what teams can put it all together the quickest. Gonna be some sloppy games in the beginning for every team. If the goaltending can keep it together I could see 4th |

Definitely a huge factor in “everything going right”
We’ll need special teams to be rock solid on both PP and PK. Goaltending has to be much better. Dahlin and company on the backend have to be much better. Hall and Eichel will have to put up top 10 scoring seasons. Staal can’t fall off a cliff. Skinner and Cozens (as currently constructed) have to breath life into the bottom 6. |

See how quick they mesh, lot of new pieces to the puzzle for the Sabres, goaltending needs to be decent out the gate. |

Went there in 2013 and definitely want to go back again.
Stayed at the Grosvenor House.
Saw Paul Van Dyk at Ministry of Sound and hung out at Fabric the last night we were there.

Off topic, but Cowherd confirmed on his show (or rather Joy Taylor did) that he and Nick Wright canceled the Pinto Ron bet. Such a shame.

We're still missing 1 piece to the #Sabres puzzle, but it would appear as though both Dylan Cozens and Jack Quinn have made the 23-man roster.
Casey Mittelstadt was placed on their Taxi Squad along with
Will Borgen
Rasmus Asplund
Brandon Davidson
Jonas Johansson

While I’m thinking the Quinn thing through one thought did pop into my head.
I believe Krueger said the taxi squad was going to practice separate from the active roster. So, putting Quinn on the roster allows him to practice with the Sabres and be around them.

I think Quinn will get the 9game tryout & then we’ll decide what to do with him
Is the CHL gonna play this year?
Have they figured out where these guys who don’t make their NHL teams are gonna play? |

Smart, could even give him a taste of the NHL until the AHL starts. |
