While we’re talking trades it sounds like there has been some movement on the goalie front w/ the Sabres.

Nothing is done and I wouldn’t say imminent either but they’ve made some progress on a goalie out west. It’s a complicated deal if it gets done.

We could salvage the season if GMKA can pull this off but I’m trying to think during COVID who would be stupid enough to give up a goalie unless we way over pay

Believe #nhljets are retaining 26% of Patrik Laine’s salary for this season, which evens out cap hits between Laine and Dubois. So no added salary for #CBJ other than new Roslovic deal.

Of course, Dubois has next year on his contract. Laine does not.

If anything. Make the trade now ... who knows how players have to quarantine.

PLD has a 14 day quarantine while Ros was already in Columbus and laine 7 day

I trust ullmark but I don’t trust Hutton. We just need a solid 1b guy behind Ullmark and move Hutton to taxi. Per my previous comment, even a backup is highly valuable during this COVId mess so I don’t know who is willing to give one up for less than a “Garth” of assets

Whatever NYS has stipulated. It used to be a negative test within 3 days prior to entering NYS, then an additional negative text within 3 days after entering.
So, if that 8s still the same, 3 days..unless he shows positive.

If 36 is correct, and 2 teams are involved, and 2 pieces going out and coming back; coupled with Chad's it's a complicated deal...that may support a 3 team trade.

A trade call is being set up between the Winnipeg Jets and Columbus Blue Jackets to complete trade sending Laine and Roslovic to Columbus for Pierre Luc Dubois. A draft pick to the Jets May also be included.

Why because he had a down year last year? Do you even know what happened to him?

He lost his father early in the year and had a hard time playing. He had time away from the team and everything.
