AMC looks like it’s about to do the same thing.

I’m thinking of taking a small position.

The best quick explanation i can give is:

1 - Big hedge funds massively over shorted gamestop, almost betting on them going bankrupt

2 - Price started going up with some promising board changes

3 - Short sellers double down and short more. Now there's more shares shorted than shares available

4 - People realized this and started buying up stock, since short sellers will eventually have to close out their positions at massive losses

5 - step 4, compounding hundreds of times
