Where's pegulaville. I need his take on the gamestop situation. This is (frank)in great watching wall street tycoons cry foul when they get beat at their own scummy game

I bought in yesterday but didn’t have a lot of free money to buy a lot

Retail succeeded.

It’s not just GameStop either.

AMC, BlackBerry, Nokia, amongst others.

I’ve had people tell me they haven’t seen anything like this before ever.

There are tons of buying on stocks with heavy short interest (borrowed stocks that are sold in order to drive price down as it increases downward pressure on price).

Because of all of the buying it is increasing upward pressure on price, as demand outweighs supply, pushing price upwards.

Once prices increase high enough it forces the institutions to cover their shorts, as they now have to buy back their borrowed stocks at a higher price to prevent further loss as prices increases. It creates a volume like vacuum that leads to extreme volatility upwards as there is so much buying momentum.

I wish I got in a few of those names haha. It looks like they are turning their attention to commodities and the constant precious metals manipulation in price in the comex paper market next.

First Majestic Silver is up 18% in the after markets last time I checked. I hope to god they succeed because I have 90% of my portfolio in silver and have been waiting for the next up leg in precious metals.

I appreciate this post. 🙂

And I appreciate the information that you provided, especially after I asked for it 🤝

Curious if the sammers were disappointed? Hard to tell ?

- Boss34

Not disappointed with the effort and the underlying overall game, but just like hall and Eichel I want more finish from him as well. I think really we can pick apart any player on any team outside of 2 guys in McDavid and Mackinnon and say this is where they struggle and wish they had more here (I’m sure there are other guys, Crosby as well, but you get the point. None of these guys are currently on the Sabres.)

I think having a guy like drury helped him
- homiedclown

He had a 21 goal season with Barnes and Brown as the top centers

Just saying.

Have you noticed the constant lack of defensive awareness? Seems like Sam is standing around doing absolutely nothing when the opponent scores.

The last 2 or 3 games , I have seen an all out attempt to get back on d. His lack of speed doesn't help. Probably brought up in coaches meetings.

Seems like sam turns over the puck , as does eichel and dahlin. They make up for it, with an outstanding back check.

I'll keep you updated, if you haven't seen this yet.
Its every game, without fail.

Again, it's easy to overlook a guy's bad habits, if you have strong feelings for them.

I've thought risto is a good defenseman for the past 7 years, aside from bone headed defensive decisions.

Looks like the stats have caught up to my hockey eye.

I honestly wasn’t involved either with any of those names.

I also don’t feel sorry for the hedge funds that went belly up either.

There were so many naked calls written (amount of shares shorted exceeding the amount of actual shares outstanding, in otherwise available to purchase) in order to manipulate the price down.

My only fear is while some of these companies are being pumped, the overall market sentiment is looking bleak right now. DJIA and SPY aren’t looking too good as a whole right now.

Unfortunately, I don’t get to watch all the games with two little kiddos always running around. I try to get a period in at least. Of course every guy has bad habits. If he didn’t he’d have a bigger contract. For what he’s paid, he’s bringing a solid game this year. Hall/Eichel/Sam is showing out to be one of the best lines in the NHL. And he’s a piece of that. Just need to start putting them in and we’ll all see how often they are there. As for Risto, it appears that he’s not a play driver or real difference maker on a bad team. When he’s on a good team, his weaknesses aren’t as exposed and he is very good so far. Hope he keeps it up. Basically Risto is bad with a bad team and good with a good team. Buffalo has been the better overall team more times then not this year imo

The whites look even better.

Should be home darks until the all star game and then home whites the rest of the season.

(frank)'em, don't place bets you can't cover, you'd have thought they'd have learned after '08, but when you face no consequences it's hard to learn.

I was a fan of changing to Royal Blue but I’m not sure it’s that much better.

Wonder if they are nicer in person. Not sure I’ve actually seen one

Well, the roads are miles better; the homes need something else, why not put a logo on the shoulder?

He’s now not on Eichel’s line and isn’t getting favorable offensive starts. When he’s on the ice, the other team gets way more chances then the Sabres do, and adjusting for line mates it’s actually worse. He still has a bomb, but most of his points still come from the PP. like the player, just don’t overpay

Pretty good considering he spent time with Reider, Eakin, Olofsson, and a 36 year old Staal

On tv during the play. The royal blue home jerseys look black. My tv is a very good 4K tv and I’m using the msg app. Not sure what resolution it uses.

Obviously from a side angle or up close in warmups they look fine.

The whites definitely look better though

I put 5k in AMC Jan 22’ 22c options right after Christmas when they were talking bankruptcy. They were .15 a piece, I figured if Kodak got a leg up people would help AMC. I haven’t slept in 3 days, life changing week.

Sabres are still soft. Teddy Nolan wants to coach again.
