Hmm...I'm not going to argue over Ullmark. He's 27 I believe? If so, he's hitting his prime years. He's made some big saves recently. They're all going to a have stinker here and there. I like his projection right now. I'd like to see him tomorrow on the second of a back to back. If he's a true #1 he's going to have to handle those from time to time.

He's unproven, for sure.

Like i said, i don’t “dislike” him
But I’d personally look to improve ANY position
And I’d just feel more comfortable with someone more “proven” for sure

Stafford’s was 2.

Makes sense

The overpay won’t matter at all to them if they win a SB
If they don’t, then they’ll feel that overpay in a few years
Rams are going for it now- i can respect that

In the NFL if I am a GM I’m making established player for 1st rd pick every time.

Too much uncertainty in the NFL draft.

That said, this is a bad deal for LA.

I’ve never disliked Ullmark- but i think his ceiling is an “average” starting goalie
Since we’re “going for it” this year with Hall,
I’d love to upgrade & bring in Kuemper
Bc Ullmark would be one of the best backups in the league- & give us a heck of a 1-2 punch

I am a huge Matt Stafford guy, but he is not that much of an upgrade over Goff. Basically the Rams paid the Lions to take Goff while taking a QB who didn’t want to be in Detroit anymore.

Jared Goff was so bad they literally started John Wolford in a playoff game.

Not only did they get out of possibly the worst contract in the NFL, they added a top 10 caliber QB with a roster that has to win within the next 2-3 years anyways.

You don’t move two firsts for Ramsey just to stay complacent.

They had to go for broke

You don’t move two firsts for Ramsey just to stay complacent.

Devil's have a couple d prospects like bahl and Walsh that look pretty good

We also have Vats so not sure if it would be a good trade. Devil's D needs help but don't think that pushes any needles and Sharo has looked good just hasn't gotten on the board last few games

Butcher has been replaced and Smith has looked good
