it's easier to move on from ralph then move on from eichel, skinner, hall, dahlin, mccabe, risto, reinhart, hutton, montour, joker, tage, casey, ullmark etc

hall played better in other teams system

That line is always going to be great in Buffalo.

Casey Mittelstadt was used as an extra attacker when we needed a goal instead of a guy who usually scores greasy goals around the net like Skinner does.

A lot of them have been failing miserably, makes it worse when a AC lolligages around. If the players love him so much, I would think they would play a little harder for him. Maybe they need to make a new job in the Organization for Krueger as a players psychologist and move him away from coaching, so when the new coach bust there asses he can sooth them with milk and cookies.

Absolutely agree the players need to step it up and take responsibility.

That said, it has taken the head coach 10 games to begin optimizing his lines ...something the knowledgeable fan base has been talking about for ...well, before the 10 games.
He is stubborn to a fault, and seems bent on sub optimizing his roster and is insistent on relying on some players beyond their capabilities
- Tage on L1 multiple times
- Okposo playing at all
- conservative approach with Dahlin
- Skinner w 10 TOI until a few shifts with Eichel
- Hall and Eichel together when they virtually cancel each other out

To not recognize these as success barriers is simply mindblowing

I see both sides of the skimmer arguement:

Former magic with eichel
Proven 40 goal scorer
Many including tage have had a shot with eichel
Stubborn coach

Is he not buying into the bosses (coach) instruction?
He scored 28 of the 40 goals in the 1st half and less than 30 goals in the next 100 games (approx)
He has had tons of shots and plenty of scoring chances
Skimmer is a top 5 x 5 guy over the past 10 years without an "eichel" center
Olo and sam have played well with eichel
Eichel is getting his assists still, had his best year without skimmer on his line last season.

If you believe the "coach" is the coach and the player should listen, I think there is an issue with some insubordination?

Skinner could easily have 5 or 6 goals without eichel this season, right? Just the player is snake bitten.

Other guys get promoted based on results.
