Washington- IMO they will bring the same energy to this season as they did in the bubble. Russians and atheism- they rely on that crowd for energy. Plus goaltending.

Kidding. It's been so long, he may have changed. Last time he was here, he liked long stretch passes, had a good defensive strategy, but had issues devising a good o-zone attack. Doesn't like flashy players. Can make games dull, but his plan does win games.

I hate the waste of Skinner on the 4th.
With that being said, what made the NBA unwatchable in the early to mid 2000’s for me was the bulk of the NBA “stars”
Could not care less if they won the game as long as they made top 10 highlights on ESPN and put up points.
I had to literally stop watching for over a decade. Only NCAA basketball was worth watching. Teams and the league woke up, reinvented themselves, and started playing a
more team game again.
I see a bit of this in Skinner. Not to the extent of let’s say a Vince Cater in TO back in the day, but I see it. It’s got to be what Ralph saw in Skinner. No second effort on broken plays. Very little back checking.

The hawks need to rebuild, they need to shed Towes and Kane. 21 million for the next 3 years combined, they are both 32. IMO they should trade them both for a shat load of picks and young prospects.
