On one hand you are blaming the League, which is the Owners who discussed the options and decided on this format,
Yet you suggest there were other options that should have been presented and voted on by the Owners...i.e. The League.

It is reasonable to believe that people who own a business worth hundreds of $m's to >$B would have explored a wide range of options and voted on them. I understand trying to save $'s when staring at 10's of $m's in loses.

Is it optimal? Hell no. Yet I don't believe the miss is that big, except trying to maxize the number of games played and not having accounted for the high likelihood of lost games in the schedule.

It is a friggin virus that is highly contagious being spread by that controllable action of breathing.
At least they aren't playing games after 10:00pm, lol.

Totally disagree. I guarantee the only option on the table was the cheapest option, which is the one we see here. 56 games against 7 teams.

The NHL does not care about the quality of their product. They're just doing the bare minimum to fulfill their legal obligations to TV deals, sponsors and the CBA with the PA

The discussion point was the schedule is the reason we have 3 teams shut down right now but he wants to open up the league so every team still plays every team.. How would that be better for the league? Owners lose more, Teams lose more, there would defiantly be more outbreaks.. It makes no sense but because were in the toughest division he wants complain. Well guess what, you wanna be a good team then beat the good teams.

It goes beyond the Sabres being in the division they're in. How can you call it a league when teams are only playing 7 other teams? That's not a league. It's 4 different leagues. I'd hate the format if the Sabres were in any division
