Baseball had two teams and they can do double headers.

The NHL cant afford this.

I just find him underwhelming, especially for a # 1 overall pick. Jeez, he was benched this year !

I expected more. Hopefully, he gets better. That's all I want : For him to be better - and sure - more electric, and more commanding. Be more "first overall" looking.

If Im Anaheim and Im trading Gibson, or Im Arizona, trading Kuemper, Im looking to rebuild, even on a small scale.

Theres no way Im interested in 68 or 23, just based on the fact that both will be 26 and well paid by the time the league resembles anything close to normal.

Im talking Cozens or Quinn, hell, even Dahlin and Picks way before Im thinking about guys who best production/salary ratio is soon behind them

Good Post!!! I could see Anaheim maybe taking 1 of them. But Arizona is trying to cut 10 to 15 mill, and with being punished by the NHL they need Picks and RD

If he gets us a top goalie in the league id be all for it. They'd want goal scoring so give em cozens. Gibsons been one of the best for a few years now and hes signed for like 6 more years.

If I try to get freaky. Gibson for Mitts, Tage, Miller, 2 firsts(maybe 3), Hutton(for cap purposes), Quinn, one of the D prospects, They can have their combo out of the 7 choices and then we'd get to keep both Rasmus and Cozens.

Personally, I just don't see either of those packages as appealing. Time the Sabres learned from the Lehner fiasco and stopped giving 1st rounders, or in this scenario, big pieces and 1st rounders for goalies. Rather draft Wallstedt.

If we can't acquire one this year, wait, we have 2 that should play meaningful games soon. Sign a replacement for Hutton as a backup, hope that Ullmark improves if he resigns.
