Cozens isn't Eichel, he's right. But he may very well be Couturier. I simply can't comprehend how we are entertaining Cozens or Dahlin ++. We traded 21OA, Colin White for Lehner and people still cry about it.

anaheim has no reason to trade gibson for less than a huge overpayment.. so its not going to happen

Guys like Olofsson are a dime a dozen in the league. Gibson is a workhorse, top notch goalkeeper. MUCH more valuable than Olofsson All Olofsson is ...is Stempniak, MacArthur, Hoffman, Maroon etc...etc....etc...Stop making him out to be Mike Bossy

Taking Cozens out, but how far have we gotten with these players. And ROR didn't want to play here anymore, we keep rolling with the same core and we keep ending up in the dumpster. Do I advocate trading them NO. But would I trade Olofsson, Ullmark or UPL and a 1st for Gibson if that got it done, in a heartbeat. And everyone keeps saying oh Dahlin, well he's gotten worse in the 3yrs he's been here, not better. He's young and definitely could get better but unless something changes with Ralph, it doesn't look like it. Or you go get a top 5 goalie and let the kid loose and maybe we see this generational player we have been waiting for.

To bad no one in the organization has any balls to pull a trade like that off.

Well they're in a rebuild that will take him till he's 30 atleast sooo why would not trade him??? It gets them the best chance for the top pick this year, and they could speed up their rebuild by obtaining someone like a cozens.

And the situation with Lehner was just some buffaluck, I never minded him other than he couldn't make a save in the shootout for the life of him. I thought he played really great here and would have not minded him being our goalie to this day... We probably wouldn't need a goalie if that was the case but tis the past.

EXACTLY. Why would anyone on this team leave if we got Gibson... We would be back to looking for a longterm 2c, skinner would be in the top 6, happy days would be ahead.

1 first rnd pick, it would hurt to loose Olofsson, but we have players ( Skinner) who could move up. We have players who can take his spot on the PP, if UPL goes we still have Portillo coming up in 3 or so years. I know it's not gonna happen but Gibson could push us over the top.

Everbody has goalies in their pipeline.... only a couple goalies under 30 with 6 years on their contract and they're both top 5... UPL wont be ready till 2025 you really wanna wait 4 more years for a goalie to be coming into the NHL... Ullmark is just getting to be a starter and you wanna wait for a guy who may not be good enough for the AHL right now LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL you are mad.
