He might be better (will Grant you he prolly is)but hes still a 4th liner. And didn’t we have a bottom 5 PK last year? He plays hard, most 4th liners do. Think he’s overpaid because he’s a good guy who’s been here. It’s not even the salary that bugged me. I don’t like the 3 year term. Take it year by year with those guys imo. 2 if they’ll take a discount.

How about this.. Skinner has played well, but not cashing in the bottom six. Hall has played well but not cashing with Eichel. Let’s flip them. Hall plays with Lazar and Skinner plays with Eichel. Maybe the goals start dropping. Doubt Ralph would tho, cuz that would A) hurt chances of resigning Hall, B) hurt his friend Hall’s feelings.

That one isn’t on Botts. Peterson took the loop hole for college kids and chose his destination. Until that rule is changed, I wouldn’t draft any goalies from the NCAA as they all play long enough in college in development that they can choose where they go. Botts tried to sign him, Cal said naw SoCal looks cool.

Cozens should be close to getting ready to play C full time...maybe 10 more games with Staal and Hall, then:

Hall - Staal - Olofsson
Mitts - Cozens - Sheahan
Reider - Eakin - Lazar

Gibson doesn’t get many wins because he plays in Anaheim.

Huge reason why he is not drafted higher in fantasy hockey formats.

Casey has had 116 games to show what he's got.
He needs to develop at wing and build his confidence.
The only reason I put him in the lineup is that I can't stand the sight of Thompson playing like a giraff on skates. He has zero small-time skills required for play in-flight, and is a complete wussy at 6-7 , 225 lbs. But, at least he tried by building muscle mass ... Casey was lifting KitKats.
I'd trade both as throws-in for nearly anyone.

Quinn is likely 3 years away, why risk destroying him like they did with Mitts ... it is the NHL with dedicated men as their opponents, not 16 -18 kids.
