I agree with this, but I disagree that Olofsson is driving the PP.

He’s the beneficiary- which is totally fine, but if he was expected to handle the puck constantly on the PP we might have a different story.

In my first post of today's bashing on Jack I said he can end it quite quickly by dominating a game or several games.

Anybody confident that's going to happen?

The Panthers are proving your theory that the Sabres would be better with more grit and toughness in the lineup. Two of the biggest reasons for their strong start is the addition of Hornqvist and Gudas. Hornqvist’s hard nosed style and Gudas making the Dzone uncomfortable for opposing forwards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4vvKckvo60 is only the start. The whole team is following that lead and playing harder and with more intensity. They are fun to watch

The first is true. Like Parcels said; You are what your record says you are. Olo has difficulty scoring unless he's on the PP. I do like watching him bury those on the PP though.

Yes, everyone sets him up for goals, but it says something about finding soft spots on the ice.

Wow, both are doing great ... Bolts have poured in 54 G's, Panthers 44 G's and are 1st and 2nd in a very tight, exciting division. They are really, really fun to watch.

By this time next week, Sabres should have amassed 32 or 33 G's and only be 12 pts out of PO's.

Umm, when have i implied anything else? Olo is still doing the hardest part. The guy screening (Risto for example) is doing the next hardest part. The movement of the puck is done by all (including Olo) to finally get Olo open.

You're acting like our PP is Jack entering the zone, dancing with the puck to draw two men, and then feeding Olo for an empty netter. Sorry. Olo is far more important to the PP success this year than Jack. Risto is #2. Jack is guy who who throws a nice pass and collects assists thanks to Olo and Risto.

I think what both Eichel and Olofsson do on the PP benefits each other.

Sure he gets open looks but he has to bury them.

Olofsson also has some nice PP assists as well.

Both do their jobs admirably on the man advantage.
