We were in orange (outdoor dining only) as of yesterday.

Oversimplified version of the story:

About 90-some restaurants here filed a lawsuit and won. Court basically said the state needed more scientific evidence that indoor dining was causing enough of a spread to close. NYS trotted out a 1.4% figure from contact tracing. Restaurants also claimed that contact tracers never determined that any cases were from them. The judge said "not good enough".

No, it’s really not. Our governor has been lying about covid and fudging the numbers.


A month ago the biggest covid hot spots according to him were gyms and restaurants.

Both have been proven false.
