Rob Ray make a point without knowing he made a point.

Skinner has made a career of scoring goals in dirty areas.

All of the sudden he just doesn't go into dirty areas anymore since Kreuger.

In fact one of the major complaints here is that players don't get into that area.

Maybe, JUST MAYBE, the system is designed that way.

Also skins rarely plays with linemates who help get pucks to dirty areas. How did we score tonight? Shot on goal, with a linemate driving to the net for a rebound. They don’t all need to be highlight reel goals. Get the puck to the net. Skate to the net.

I wouldn't exactly say that Hall was going to the dirty area. They were on a rush (something Ralphie is trying to coach out of them) and Hall was smart enough to have his stick on the ice. I've been defending Skinner for much of the year but I think (gulp) Ray is right. He needs to get closer to the net.
