What would you propose for the package in that case?

I'm not yet sold on Lafreniere... he's young and adjusting I'll give him that break, but has been very underwhelming to date...him in a package reduces the other assets rather dramatically I would think.

Finally a deal for Byfield!!! Peterson and Byfield is very interesting....

Wasn’t there something on Carter and not wanting to be traded?

If they wanted 6k over Johansson what would you say?

Still not advocating trading jack. Especially without moving Ralph first.

Problem is duchene also is not the greatest leader and locker room guy.

Talent on the ice is pretty decent.

Being bad, then finally making all the right drafts/moves has done wonders for them. I wonder what that feels like ? Must be nice to have a decent GM making all the right decisions (besides Beane).

they have, and always have had, some talent in huberdeau, barkov, and ekblad, made some good moves in bringing in hornqvist and verhaeghe alnong with a trio of players in duclair, wennberg and gudas who are finding their games in their given roles...

that said, they're playing in a very weak division...so far they've played 11 of their 15 games against detroit (4-1-0) nashville (1-0-1) columbus (1-0-1) and chicago (2-0-0)...

sure they're 2-1-0 vs. tampa and 1-0-0 vs. carolina, but put i'm still skeptical

i don't know the reasons and i'm really not a big fan of the pegula's, but i'm not sure this should be a big issue...as it unfolds with more information available, i'll come to a stronger opinion, but not right now
