The NHL deparately needs team and player options like the MLB has.

Let me just make up a player Smile Locktoasto signs 6 year contract. Team has option to renew contract after year 3, aka 4 5 and 6 are not guaranteed.

Same for player. They have an option to void a contract after X amount of years.

Then there is the long talk of pushing the age back but I don't think that happens.

Combining the two draft classes would be interesting but my guess is agents and players would oppose that

Print more money and implement yield curve control capping treasury yields (which have been rising noticeably causing the dip in the markets), while tanking the dollar and letting hyper inflation continue.

Or

Watch the market tank as yields rise and fear of interest rate hikes pop the giant bubble that is the stock market.

That's really interesting, seem's like the Sabres would be in a better position with all 3 scenarios?

That would give a top prospect like, smile locktoasto out of the (IHL) Italian hockey league, a fair chance to be evaluated.

I have faith in the Sabres securing the highest draft pick possible. They have unparalleled experience 🤔
