Not all the goals are Hutton's fault but you also don't see Hutton make those big saves when you are at 1-1 or down 2-1 where the team can rally around.

That is something Hasek and other good goalies have the ability to do.

Teams will rally around great saves.


Watch any game on any team. You will hear the commentator say sometimes the goalie just needs to make that big save to change momentum.

Damn, are you even watching the team. I can tell who has played on a team sport here and who has not.

The chances the Sabres are getting are unbelievable. That islander goalie is unreal. That shot by Eichel on the power play I would have caught with my bare hand. This team needs some balls. Not resigning Simmonds was a mistake. He could have handed out some guts in the room.

I think the coaches horrible team management and nothing system cost himself his job. Ralph is clearly in over his head. Bad goaltending just accentuates how bad Ralph is.

Yes I have, and would never quit like this, especially when we as a team are part of the problem. Hey I don't like Hutton and have called for upgrades for a long time, but to blame your goaltender for you playing this bad is ridiculous to me.

He sucks but there's guys out there who are trying to make a career out of this. Whether you're under long term contract or not.

Now I understand the psychology of faith. We've all seen before when a team is down most of the game and they finally get a goal and all of a sudden everyone has legs. Morale does affect this, more so if you're weak minded and or suck. But the idea that these guys are willing to tank their own careers completely because of a goalie is just wrong.
