I worry about the younger players.
I'm tired of our youth being subjected to a losing culture.
It's not healthy.

I firmly believe that this is part of this franchise's problem over the past decade.

It needs to change as quickly as possible before more of this franchise's talented youth becomes tainted with the stench of failure.

To keep the people that pay to watch this team and are invested in this team somewhat at bay

But remember Kim and company know more than the average fan but yet the average fan could coach this team to the same if not better record.

They could pull someone out of the stands like they did in Eddie with the Knicks and this team would be in the same or better position overall.

Goaltending is an issue but today was the first time I actually watched intently and watched this teams best player gain the red line and dump it in. That is a huge issue. Nobody is trying to carry the puck in, which to me tells me that is a based on the system.

This team had enough talent to be in the playoff conversation (sorry Terry signing Hall does not make you a cup contender) but the fact remains whatever Ralph's system is (not a lot of people can figure out exactly what his system is) stinks.

Respectfully 34, I don't think that they should be called "fair weather fans" after the epic failure of this franchise for the past decade.
Some games are literal torture to watch.

To be fair, NPR (who I assume is the liberal org you’re referring to) didn’t do the study, they’re just reporting the results of said study. You’d have to look into the org who actually did the study and what their methodology was to determine if the conclusion was shocking.

As a general statement and not directed at you (as I don’t know you) it drives me nuts that people will just read a headline, or see what the source is, and automatically think “that’s bs” or “I knew it” when the first thought should be “is that true?” followed by some simple googling to confirm or deny it. An intellectually honest post. I applaud your perspective. The only question, is the one asked by Marcus Aurelius and the skeptics. Is it true.
