It's a shame that Beane kinda messed up the D line situation. If he had not signed a couple of the re-treads and canned Murphy before the season we would be primed to do a little discount shopping. Plenty of good names available.

We're on the 3rd rebuild. This would be 4 by my count

1st - Kane, ROR, Lehner, Bylsma, Murray

2nd - Berglund, Mittelstadt, Dahlin, Housley, Botterill

3rd - Staal, Hall, Cozens, Krueger, Adams

Those are all continuations of first one. Built with a poor foundation then trying to patchwork on the shoddy foundation.

He turned this team around from loserville ( Sabres ) to superbowl contenders in 3 years. Sabres are going on 14 years of suck.

What I like about beane is he seams to learn from his mistakes. Also it seams hes not stuck on one way of thinking. Think we got a good one....

As a Giants fan, I'm sad to see him go, but I'm pretty sure Dalvin Tomlinson is going to be available. If the Bills need interior help, you could do MUCH worse.

Absolutely, i wasn't killing him (although everyone knew that murphy was shot). Just wistfully wishing we had some of that money back but hindsight is easy.

No we aren’t. It’s ridiculous you put it this way. That’s like saying even if you bring in anyone new it’s a rebuild. If that’s the case every team has been rebuilding every year. Again ridiculous. Rebuilding requires the tear down of your core. That hasn’t happened for a long time. Our core is basically Eichel Reinhart Ristolainen and McCabe. Hasn’t changed since ROR and Kane were traded.

And I remember being thrilled that he opted out because I didn't think he was very good. He still might not be but the signings seem to be unfortunate.
