And the organization is proving to fit Skinner & Hall,
so there’s no reason to think they couldn’t have fit O’Reilly & Hall

And I’m sure the Sabres would choose Skinner over the scrubs we’d need to do without for him to fit as well

He'd have a dozen goals if he had olofsson's accuracy. Getting open looks has never been his problem.

More mentions of the ROR trade ? OK, why not. I read the "he wanted out" statements a couple pages back. It's pretty awesome that we have people here - in this very blog ! that are personal friends with Ryan O'Reilly and know this information for a fact - and are willing to blab about it here ! Oh, maybe I have that wrong. It's so excellent that people in here were the actual GM of the Sabres during that period of time, and are posting what they personally heard from ROR.

I guess if you say it enough times, you believe it's real. Kind of like "the election was stolen".

Face it. It was a stupid, unnecessary trade that didn't have to be made, and we're still paying for it.

Happy Gilmore had a hell of a shot too. Doesn't matter how good you are in getting to the soft areas if you can't actually do anything.

Absolutely, i wasn't killing him (although everyone knew that murphy was shot). Just wistfully wishing we had some of that money back but hindsight is easy.

Wouldn't mind if he trades up for 5 guys he feels best about. We got alot of players ( precious draft picks )in the system we are training up and hope to step in at some point so get the 4-5 guys you feel best about. In mcbean I trust!

But with the Pegulas not wanting to pay the bonus he was due,
getting a good return seemed to have flown right out the window

$200 million for a pro sports league is a bargain, which was what NBC got the last one for. ESPN won't be paying is much for this deal since there is supposed to be another network involved, but the total dollars coming in between ESPN and the other network will likely be higher.
