meh...i think it's pretty funny because cozens is nothing like girgensons...on the other hand, mittelsons has a ring to it at times

Doesnt mean we are giving him away for nothing.

Matt tkachuk is a nhl star.
Needs dahlin or eichel to start a conversation

Buffalo fans like matt tkachuk because he's a mix of toughness, scoring and face punching.

Ok. If Eichel isn’t 100% and playing that only makes sense if 1. It’s not threatening his career. 2. He’s making a difference. 3. The team is either making a playoff push or actually in the playoffs.
He’s not 100%, he hasn’t been 100% and it shows. He should have been out of the lineup until he was 100%.
If this team can’t win games while Eichel is out of the lineup they are not going anywhere with the supporting group and him in the lineup. Eichel should have been rested and Hall should have stepped up to be the leader.

Are you serious? Sam is having the same season he always does.

He is a 25g 65pt winger. Under every coach.

Regardless of your feelings on girgensons, he has a high effort stride like cozensons. Obviously, not identical.

Powerful, effortful, never give up attitude.

I see a guy that's gonna be a good defensive forward and hard working buffalo guy. Hope cozensons can put up the superior even strength points..... of zemgus.....

This fanbase would still like girgensons if we weren't horrible for 8 years...

Maybe I'm not seeing the lazy, uninspiring play and terrible skating in person?

Just seeing what the camera shows? Like everyone else?

Or , maybe he's stepped up as vet (obviously after we were eliminated from the playoff picture) ?

Maybe playing his way out of buffalo?
Maybe he understands kruegers system?
Sam has been playing well, IMO.

I'm enjoying his play.
Good for the Sabres.
It's been a very good 10 game stretch

Kinda a small sample size IMO. 😀

The "fan appeal" is similar.
Hard working , blue collar , future captain mantra.

So cozensons has a floor of 15 goals and 15 assists in 61 games. 11 even strength goals.

Approx. .5 points a game as a 2nd year player.
That's a great floor, cant wait for cozensons to blow past girgensons ceiling.

He's had 8 games without a point this season

4 of them were in the first month of the season where he still had 6 points in 8 games

I don't understand your hate for him

Also 4 of those games the Sabres were shutout

He's literally the only Sabre that is playing well
