Sportsnet's exclusive deal is worth $5.2 billion and expires after the 2025-2026 season. That was a 12-year deal, not a 10 year like NBC's. My guess is Canada will go the same route and Bell/TSN will be back in the mix for a figure even more astronomical.

Would this deal help offset the cost of replacing Ralph. Thus, not affecting the Pegula lifestyle? Or does Kim need the money for the yacht?

The NHL still has a second broadcast deal to negotiate/finalize (which include three Stanley Cup Finals), plus another deal with a streaming partner. So it'll ultimately be a lucrative package when combined with the ~$2.8-billion coming from ESPN.
