we felt casey deserved to get a chance and provide a spark

obviously in a shortened season, guys are gonna need to sit out so as a team we are fresh

we like what skinner brings and expect him to be a strong piece moving forward when we get him back in the lineup

but right now casey is working hard and we felt as an organization he deserved a shot to play

I must have missed it - which teams are out-toughing us? More importantly, we looked like dogbleep with both Risto and Lionheart in the lineup the last half a decade. Nothing different with them out.

I fear you're right. Extend Risto, Sam, McCabe, and Ullmark long term and I don't think you can ever win.

To be clear, I'm not advocating for status-quo, far from it infact. They have alot on their plate to deal with the pending UFA's and preparing for the Expansion Draft and this unique year for the Entry Draft.

I just don't believe this organization will win the trade...
even if Jack asks, they need to have the fortitude to tell him..on our timeline, not yours...and you have a personal services contract to which you are obligated to give performance equal to an elite payday.

I maintain that if Krueger is hellbent on nailing Skinner to 4th line duties, then using their 1st this year as a sweetner to have Seattle take him would be best, just need Skinner to waive his NMC.
