He also sustained a major injury costing him 49 games in 1 season...I don't hold that against him.
He misses significant games nearly every year over 10 seasons, he played 1 full season of 82 games, who cares if he's on pace for 82..he produces less because he misses games.

Hall is generating scoring chances for himself and his linemates and a top line level.

It's his fault he's been unlucky and has had trouble finishing. It's not his fault his linemates are also having trouble finishing, therefore I couldn't care less how many points he has. It doesn't accurately reflect his play

Two things:

Scoring more than the opponent matters

Having the puck more= Getting more scoring chances = scoring more goals = winning more games

I couldn't care less who it is that get's credit for the points. I want the guys who generate the goals when they are on the ice
