Larry Brooks of the New York Post is reporting that Artemi Panarin is taking a leave of absence from the New York Rangers after a piece came out that he beat up an 18-year-old woman in Russia in 2011.
Wow! Brooks tweeted that it was a political hit piece and that is quite the serious accusation for the Russian winger. There should be more to come out shortly but that is huge news for the Rangers and hockey fans.

There have been games where skinner has played on the top line and done a grand total of nothing.
Artem zub playing his first year in the nhl on the bottom pairing on the Ottawa Senators has more goals than skinner.

And continue to be thrust into that position while you’re stuck with the Larrys. How many chance has sstt been jammed on the first line... it’s a joke at this point. Tage doesn’t have the stones to be anything in this league. Looks great on skates, has elite tallness, plays like WAP.

He hasn't played a single game on the top line. Hes played a couple minutes in some games when were already down by 2 or 3 because we need a goal.

Most players can't go out there and do everything alone you need to build off your line mates and when you don't have the proper line mates to build off you don't get the results you hope for.

that's a crazy return for the 30th pick...however, i wouldn't be opposed to trading down into the 33-38 range and gaining an extra pick (maybe 3rd rounder?)...they have a lot of holes to fill...

that said, if harris is available at 28, i'm drafting him

Same with Olofsson 5v5 but yeah lets keeping forcing something that just isn't there. Same with Okposo playing. This coach can't even make the right decisions when it comes to the line-up.... How does anyone above him expect him to do anything in this league. WHAT A JOKE
