Buffalo really does suck. His numbers are still very poor though.
Okposo and Skinner contracts are very bad. - manvanfan
Yup.....a bit of a mystery, how can the whole team just not really give a crap and be ok with being so bad? Eric Staal got there after being so competitive with Minnesota and then just seemingly said FU |

BUF is a team a good GM should be trying to take advantage of.
Kind of like what GM's and agents do to Benning |

As I said in my first post, if Sutter and Pearson walk for nothing, which is highly likely given past history with Benning, they have Will Lockwood to show for it. Which is terrible. You didn’t have to defend your boy Benning but you chose to engage with me.
All the wheeling and dealing was all for not as it didn’t help the team get better and it didn’t help the future. Therein lies the issue. If they’d have been patient and just rebuilt properly they could have McCann (who we could use right now) and a kid from the 33rd pick.
I’ll never stop complaining until he’s gone....sorry. - Pacificgem
Until Pearson and Sutter have walked for free the deal is ongoing. The only way Benning lets them walk for free is if we are on a really strong push and then your narratives will all be silenced.
As Carol mentioned in this blog Pearson will probably be offered a reduced but acceptable contract. So until he is gone ,he is not.

I don't think he wants to be there. I mean a lot of players probably don't want to be there.
They still have a middle aged core. Another high draft pick and some extra picks, a proper experienced NHL coach. Proper free agent signings. |

Adams said yesterday that he is open for business. Fully open.
But I doubt Benning could take advantage of that situation but there are good pieces in BUF that would fit well here. |

It's a good idea to lock up your secondary, short term players before committing money and term to your primary players who are the future of the organization. Day-to-day. |

Fair enough, why didn’t you just say that instead of coming up with some fifty year old BS about Orr and Esposito
Sometimes you’re your own worst enemy. You start slinging poop and then get bent outta shape. We’re rehashing old sh it here, in regards to rebuilding vs retooling, I don’t think I directed my comments to you but you chose to defend Benning at all costs. |

They made progress last year, so I thought, strange why no one wants to play there? I mean, who cares if it’s a hole, you’re playing in the NHL collecting NHL money.
Too many management flips since Pegula took over, every three years he fires the GM, how many coaches have those kids been through? |

Dude your first comment was if these two walk then all we got to show for it is Lockwood.
As someone pointed out to you SEEMS LIKE A DECADE AGO.
Secondly I don't give a flying fuk about arguing with you are the rest of the glory holers.
We also know who you guys are and that you stick together . Just because I always argue with you and your six friends means nothing . I actually like you and one or two more of you but you are still part of the glory hole gang .Seven people sharing one brain

Is this your gang narrative thing? A 65 year old man thinks strangers on the internet have formed a gang lol, seriously. Some people share opinions some people don’t, sometimes you and I share opinions on things, are we a gang you and I? |

Talk about a meddling owner that won't allow the process. The guys who hate JB's process are probably laughing at how bad Buffalo is.
I don't want to say it but they almost need more blue collar guys like Sutter. Cozen's in a couple of years. |

He looked so uncomfortable and lost in his interview, he did not want to be there. I got the feeling that Donna is right, he’s no longer in charge.
I wonder if Don and I are an internet gang now? |

Adams really needs to blow that thing up and start over, some great young pieces there they could use to expedite things. Get the rotten attitudes out and start over. |

There’s people who are ok with what’s happening, people who on the fence and people who’ve had enough....at the end of the day we all want the organization to be successful.
I’m outspoken about my dislike for Benning, have been for a long time, if someone shares that opinion they just share that opinion. If you and other chose to defend the process you guys are the gloryholers, by definition, lol, or as an adult would say, you’re just some random guys who share the same opinions |
