Adams really needs to blow that thing up and start over, some great young pieces there they could use to expedite things. Get the rotten attitudes out and start over. - Pacificgem
Benning got the process right in finding players to help the youngsters grow into the game. Plus drafting well has helped.
I probably wouldn't go with blow up but definitely finding a way to get some things that would help the team in another 2-3 years.
Trading Hall, Staal, Montour, Eakin, Mittelstadt. Basically allow for a 1/3 of the roster to be revamped next season.
Don't trade for pouty individuals next season either |

There’s people who are ok with what’s happening, people who on the fence and people who’ve had enough....at the end of the day we all want the organization to be successful.
I’m outspoken about my dislike for Benning, have been for a long time, if someone shares that opinion they just share that opinion. If you and other chose to defend the process you guys are the gloryholers, by definition, lol, or as an adult would say, you’re just some random guys who share the same opinions - Pacificgem
It doesn't bother me that you dislike him and the same as me sticking up for him should not matter.
Have you ever said to anyone here lets go to this thread and cause poop?
I don't need to call out names of the gang. They will come in and defend themselves even though I have not mentioned their name.
I honestly don't understand the ganging up of Nuck Up . I don't honestly give a flying fuk if he was Nuk4U or Marry Poppins on his last namesake.
I could not give a rats ass if Mister Brown was Kaptaan with his last ID .
I didn't see a need for people to gang up on Dragon.
If Booner comes in here and gets in it with you then within 5 minutes there are three others attacking him.
Always the same or part of the same group that gang up .

Canucks been slaying dragons as the season goes on. Winning games in WPG. Beating the TML in early games. Scoring against Markstrom. Montreal is up next. A better showing vs them could go a long ways for the teams confidence and wrecking their chance at another high draft pick.
Can't forget not giving up a goal on the first shot and even last night a come from behind victory. |

Vantel, it works both ways, random internet people don’t care for an internet persona. There’s a group of people who don’t like or share my opinions, yourself included, I’ve never said you’re all a gang, come on, that’s childish. You just see things differently than me, whatever, so be it.
Booner, Vantel, Mini, VGH, Marwood, Makita, etc. have all gone after me at some point, I probably deserved it because I poke the proverbial bear all to often. It’s cyclical, sometimes things are cosher, sometimes they’re not.

Agree, kids need insulating, which Benning did nicely in the beginning, however, he overcommitted to that process. Which is now biting us in the ass.
Honestly I would trade Eichel along with Hall and Staal and start fresh. Eichel doesn’t seem to be happy anyways. Get a boatload and start over. |

My co-worker who used to be on this site, he has a completely different view on the team then I do. He always gets so mad during our conversations because according to him "I won't acknowledge any wrong doings by Benning".
Which is not true at all. I know Benning has done a lot of wrong but I'm not focusing on what he has done wrong because at this point, it really hasn't hampered the organization to any significance.
I see into the future and it's a hell of a lot brighter than the past was. |

Like I said, just because we agree sometimes or disagree others doesn’t mean anything. I enjoy debating with you and the others. Marwood hated my takes at one point but now we agree on Benning, he still thinks I’m an idiot though |

I’ve said both positive and negative things on Benning, at this point after seven years I’m ready for a change though, I’ve had enough of his stupidity.
That said, you’re 100% correct, all the losing has brought in some great draft picks, something Benning has clearly been good at. |

Too many see things in the black and white though. If Benning doesn't overcommit then maybe the kids are to do without and learn on their own. Not to mention the lesser compliment players are thrust into the line up sooner as well and don't get time to develop properly.
Development isn't linear so planning things 3-4 in advance is damn near impossible.
Why would Jack be happy, all he has ever done is lose? What they need to do is find a way to make the team at least respectable on the ice nightly. |

We all seen what he has done. I hated the Eriksson signing and Sven .
Some of his deals piss people off. Most everyone said Sutter is useless and today they are saying he is a good shut down guy trade for a second
Roussels career ends and they bring in a replacement that is similar Lind. |

I’m sure he’s sick of losing, but he’s been in the league five years, he needs to STFU and work hard. Stop whining and play.
Not many guys come into the league as a second overall pick and start winning immediately. I’ve said this before, took Sakic eight seasons to win a Cup, seven to just make the playoffs I think. Mario Lemieux won in his seventh year.
Kids are so entitled, they want everything right now these days. Things are bad in Buffalo like they were for the Nordiques for years, with the right manager I’m sure they’ll get better. |
