A high danger shot is in the slot area, yes, could never figure out what the difference was between these 2 stats.
I have tried asking several analytics guys, none of them have been able to explain the difference. - Reubenkincade
Yeah, the magical triangle I like to call it. I was looking at this article last week. I believe what they would call it was that "home plate" shaped area the inner and outer slot.

I liked OJ and think he has more to offer than Benn does but OJ was having probably a few too many mishaps to continue in the line up. Also weren't using OJ on the PK but they do use Benn. Even though OJ was a PK superstar in Utica.
Just one of those Green/Baumer question marks on why not give them an actual chance before benching or sending to the press box for a young player. - manvanfan

I know what the slot area is and don't need it drawn out for me. Lol |

Also, who makes a determination on what they input, usually can determine the output of any stat, so if I don't like a player, I can input a figure to get an expected outcome that I want, or vice-versa, which makes these stats all very subjective.
The last paragraph came from a analytic person who works in analytics for a fairly large energy company, that I know from high-school. - Reubenkincade
I have seen some analytics guys making scoring adjust charts for players around the league. I believe Montreal is the worst for it.
Stat's are completely subjective for sure if you don't use the right context of them and not just one. I believe in quality over quantity. |

Just a reason why I think Green and staff should go. He didn't develop anyone for the big leagues in Utica and has hasn't developed anyone in the NHL either. Everybody just comes in with a bang or struggles and continues to struggle. |

The assistant coaches certainly can be improved. Letting Manny go was a mistake and they should have tried to get Bur before he was elevated. They are smart studies of the game and know how to connect with players. |

One of the things I thought was funny last night when they stated the faceoff wins after two periods and we were kicking their ass.

Should Canucks try to draft Luke Hues?
They'd get a lot of PR being America's team.
Already with players like QH, BB, JTM, Demko, Schmidt, Gaudette, Rathbone in the roster. |

In 2014 the Flyers traded Brayden Coburn to the Lightning and then turned that pick into Travis Konecny. There’s tons of examples how trading a guy back then should be helping your franchise, but he’s completely dismissive about it like it’s no big deal, it is a big deal, it’s terrible management - Pacificgem
Your Kesler example makes your argument look very weak. Do better. One team trade list |

He looked so uncomfortable and lost in his interview, he did not want to be there. I got the feeling that Donna is right, he’s no longer in charge.
I wonder if Don and I are an internet gang now? - Pacificgem

Jackson Kunz has scored again today. Give's him 18 in 33 games on the season. 7th best in the league. |

King is another Baumer type. Their utility is limited. The tenacity of Bur and Manny is a cut above and their affability infectious. |

How about the media can call whatever line Pouty is on, the 2nd line and Bo or Miller's line could be called the 3rd line.
Nighthawk has been trying to say, for years, that having 3 balanced lines is the way to go, with a 4th line that plays some PK and energy minutes.
Don't go so attached to a number assigned to a line.
He is not wrong. - Reubenkincade
I'm not saying he's wrong and I agree we need 3 balanced lines...but that should happen WITH Petey in the top 6. Not assigning 'names' to lines and such just how I see it. |
