He’s still young, and could still pan out but it’s looking less and less likely. I mean the fact he couldn’t get into any games after Stephenson went down tells you where he is currently in the pecking order.
Looks like they traded away the wrong youn center. Suzuki looking like a stud and doing it in big games.
The only reason this won’t be worse than the Forsberg deal by McPhee is because Pacioretty still has a few good years left where Erat was out the league a few years after the trade. - Yosimar89
Vegas is in desperate need of SPEED. A true 1C to put with Stone and Patches and a 4th line that can create the odd goal. Not that I have a problem with a Carrier/Roy/?? line, but Stephenson and Tuch need a player to play with on the 3rd and the Karlsson/Reilly/Marchessault line can't disappear like they did
I'm not sure aside from Petro and Theodore they have enough talent on the back end to facilitate a good transition game |

The hope is Peyton Krebs turns into a stud for us.
The bottom six definitely needs a boost. You can’t keep playing 2 guys in Reaves and Carrier who basically give you nothing offensively when you struggle so much too score as a team and the third line for a while has been “please Tuch do something amazing for us” on nightly basis. I like Roy but ideally he’s your 4th line C. |

Sore in the backend ? - Benny Blanco
You never learn, do you?
This game was a toss up once they finished tied in regulation. This wasn't an incident of a team violating another. It was a good game between two good (but different) teams.
The minute you disrespect your opponent in real life, you're screwed. Next series will be a war, whoever advances. |

Lehner wasn't the issue.
Players like Stone - who are expected to carry the team - disappeared. He was a complete non-factor, barely noticeable at either end of the ice.
Analysts think he was injured due to his play. Who knows...

He was asked that question flat out during the post conference, answer was "no". Too many players were passengers when it mattered most |

Wow!
He was playing like Mitch Marner does in the playoffs. He looked scared out there.
I hope he was not telling the truth about not being injured. Bad look on him otherwise.

I watched him in the games. He was avoiding contact like his life depended on it.
I'll give credit to the habs for making him afraid of body contact in a contact sport.
