Jeff Paul: What is Happening in Vegas?! The Vegas Golden Knights traded their defending Vezina winner Marc-Andre Fleury. He was dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks for minor leaguer and former fifth round draft pick, Mikael Hakkarainen.

This is such a bad look. The move itself I get, but to not give the face of your franchise a heads up is criminal. This organization is getting a really bad rep for unceremoniously discarding players.

I think a Danault signing and the addition a FA goalie (Bernier, Mrazek, Andersen, Halak, Reimer) at around $3-4M would really pay off for Vegas!

A year late IMO. They should’ve done this last year. Having 2 goalies making that much never made sense. They could’ve had a better team and used those 5-7 mil and added talent to help them score.

Loved having MAF on the team. Good luck on whatever he decides to do next.

This organization needs to do things differently. This isn’t the first player who’s found out about a trade via the internet, hell they’ve done this to former members of the staff and other people who work for the team. This is not the type of reputation you wanna develop around the league. The whole being in Vegas thing can only attract people for so long.
