If they want to weed out the mentally weak and get some NTC’s waived then hire a hardass Torts/Cassidy type personality - Nucker101

Trotz - Reubenkincade
Doubt he’d be interested at this stage of his career.
Might as well wait for the better version of the Canuck, the Leafs. Similar styles/weaknesses, better team. |

Of course but some are easier to move and will start bidding wars. - Nucker101
Bo will get a nice return, not a Dobson, but should get some decent prospects/picks or young players. |

Rutherford is a mouthpiece, he talks a lot of poop but he and Allvin really haven’t done a damn thing to better the team and the cap situation isn’t any better than it was last year. |

I heard two nights ago that Trotz leaked that he's been talking to the Leafs.

I don’t think ownership gives a poop about picks or prospects who are 3-4 years away so it’s going to have to be a younger roster player or AHL prospect who’s expected to break in soon. |

Babcock? Bill Peters?
I think they need someone who can get them playing boring defensive hockey and hope that the offensively talented players can overcome the systems and still shine. Trotz would be ideal, AV even, hell, even Guy Boucher’s 1-3-1 would be a welcome change. |

Ya, you could be right( for once)Lol
Maybe a Bob Hartley type, although, I would think at this stage, this group needs to bottom out. |

Hopefully the Isles are serious and they can get one of the “P” D-men. |

For good reason. He wasn’t interested in coaching the Canucks and he did a poopty job while he was here. Even he admitted to that. |

Watching the Oilers-Caps game and notice Aube-Kubel playing for Caps, apparently he got claimed off waivers.
Not sure why Canucks wouldn't claim him, he has some speed, tenacity and sorta defensively responsible.
I guess if they could have traded for him, they would have gladly given up a 2nd. - Reubenkincade
He's not a small Swedish winger. |

JR gives good interviews. Time for actions to back it up now.
He said the right things:
- team doesn’t play with structure
- will make changes to roster to wake up the locker room if they keep sucking
- Would like to sign Bo but also happy that his trade return price is going up as well.
Hopefully he’ll back this up with actions. I’m not holding my breath. - Nucker101
Saying the right things and doing the right things are night and day in Vancouver. |
