Agreed - Reubenkincade
Don't hold your breath, this team prefers shortcuts. Prepare to see trades for prospects that other teams view as expendable, not draft picks. |

Yup, they're in a 'win now' mode. |

No attachment to any of this garbage core. Will some of them thrive on other teams? Sure, but who cares because it won't happen here. Can't be afraid to move on from anyone just because you're afraid that they might play better elsewhere, that's how you get stuck with a poop core group of players in the first place.
Unfortunately it's going to be hard to make any major trades during the season, especially involving players with term still left on their contracts.
The summer should be a firesale though - Nucker101
No one expects them to change up everyone all at once, so if it takes 2 years to change these players out, so be it.
This bs excuse of, we didn't get what we wanted, tells me that they have overvalued said player.
If they can dump 1 player before Xmas, then another player or 2 at, or around the deadline, then all the better, but the process of elimination needs to start 6 months ago. |

Ya, even that is better than what the team is about now, but ultimately, build through the fu cken draft. |

What if it was Boeser for Kapanen? Maybe try and get them to add a 2nd. - Retinalz
Again, I don't like any of those options. If you want to have more seconds, then don't trade for players like Stillman.
I look at teams like TB VGK MTL MIN and they don't piss around. Mtl or Minny think you are too slow they buy you out or put you on LTIR. All four teams have constant turn over and additions of good player and know how to turn a 81 mil cap into a 98 mil dollar cap.
Benning and this chipmunk are too much like boy scouts and play to close to the rules.
Buyout OEL next year put Boeser on LTIR, Pearson in Abbottsford. Make a goddamn statement and stop talking about it.
None of this really matters though if the arena is full. If people stopped going to the games that is when real change would happen. IMO

They also have a management group which needs to mentally masturbate everything. It won't be easy, anything!

Pittsburgh fans have been trying very hard to dump Kapanen. I think that would be like jumping out of the pot and into the fire. - VANTEL
Right now even Tim from Tim and Friends are saying blow it all up. lol I still think small moves will be made before anything huge happens. Funny how fast things change as they (media) were saying how great this club looks under Boudreau and a .668% win pct. |

Are you still sticking to your guns and predicting this team finishes top 3 in the WC?

Actually Tim has been skeptical of this group since at least last season, he just didn't think they were this horrendous.
Also, why are you even listening to mainstream media? |

Yep. even after all this they are still right in the WC hunt barely back of the Flames. SEA LA CHI ARI and NSH all playing way above potential finishing points. 14 games in lots of Hockey left. And I never did say top three in the Western Conference not sure where that came from maybe you? lol. 3rd in the division or the WC spot is where I figured and still up for grabs.
Issue is Rutherford will probably get impatient and start gunslinging before this group can find it's rhythm. But, the blow it up folks will be happy. |

Because the flip flops are comical. Last year Tim was singing the praises of this club under Boudreau. Now he is on the blow it all up bandwagon as it sells ads and increases revenue. Remember Rubes 67% of MSM reporting is bullish!t. It doesn't do you any good to believe the remaining 33% either lol. |

No Lordy. You corrected me even when I quoted you as saying division which led to a whole conversation about it. This was back during the 7 game winless streak.

As you know I don't pay too much attention to what media complains about.
My complaint this year is here we go again. These slow out of the starting box each year kill us and leave us sitting in the middle year after year. To me hanging out in the middle is the worse spot you can be. Win good or lose good, both spots pay rewards. Hanging in the middle is like kissing your sister.
I have been following half-heartedly and half entertained. It is not a big complaint or an approval it is the middle. See the middle sucks |
