Can’t agree. He was their best player last year by a country mile. I refuse to believe he did crack all summer and is suddenly terrible. I still believe he is their best player - CanuckDon
In no way has he proven to be a guy to build around. He's a giveaway machine regardless of how many points he puts up.
Miller is the bigger issue, imo and the clock is ticking. Management or Ownership need to admit they were wrong on the player and contract and ship him out. Unfortunately, it will be for pennies on the dollar compared to anything that was offered before. - carsonagenic
It's pretty clear this management has an ego that conflicts with doing the right thing. They wouldn't take less than they perceived Miller's worth and instead commit to $8m until he's 37. Just WTF???
Boeser who they should have let go one way or another to create cap space is signed to $6.65. They went on and on about not losing player control. Who fkn cares... so now they have control of what? Meanwhile they keep talking cap issues... and trade picks to address it while not willing to make the decision on Boeser that they needed to.
With acquiring Bear I can see Myers TDL moved but probably have to retain 1m+. Leaves 3 RHD in Bear Schenn & Burroughs. Doesn’t look sexy but I can live with it while D gets drafted.
I excepted they couldn't sign him the very second they signed Miller.
You got behind the deal they gave Miller. Even lectured me that it was the right move because of the lack of market on him. You only 2 days ago claimed Miller is the culture this team needs too...
$8m for Miller, a incomplete sloppy unnatural center. A poor leader. Who cares if you have to take less. This contract is terrible but it got your stamp of approval.
It's hard for people to keep track of the direction you go with your posts. - boonerbuck
Yes I supported the Miller signing. So what? I thought they would make the playoffs this year just like coaching and management did. What’s happening is beyond comprehension.

Most points does not equal best player. Miller is tragic. He was tragic last year, he will be tragic next year. Demko was their best player last year, this year, not so much.

Who would take Myers on at 5 mil for what 3 more years?!
Not even the most negative projections predicted they wouldn’t be a bubble team. Apparently you and Reuby were the only team that saw this coming. They just don’t work together for some reason. A bunch of weak minded losers that appear unhappy and have no confidence
