They need to trade these guys in order to acquire draft picks and/or younger players, this will start the rebuild process.

Horvat...worth a 1st & a good prospect.
Miller...has value despite what you morons think, worth a young player & pick.
Quinn Hughes...very high value, worth a 1st & a young dman.
Myers...worth a 2nd round pick.
Luke Schenn...worth a 2nd round pick.

Replace Quinn with Boeser (Who has positive value, despite what some negative nancy's say) Quinn has a rare skill set and defensive game overall is improving. We just need to find a younger Luke Schenn to be his partner for the next 5+ years.

They're not interested in picks at the moment, as history suggests.

They want young players that can contribute now, they will continue to deal picks in the process.

Which is a problem. We need to get picks, and once we know where they are, decide which ones to draft with and which ones to trade. Like MTL trading Romanov for 13oa and then flipping that for Dach. Dach is having one hell of a season as a RW instead of a center.

What is the realistic value of Miller? He's still a solid player for 8M. Just not in the timeline for Canucks.

They never liked Brock but they thought he couldn’t be as bad as last year and they could revive some value and trade him. Now they have another anchor
