I think Stutzle had a slow start on his second year also. Let's face it not much is going right with this team. Despite his slow start I still like Podz. I said before he started playing, he would score 8 goals his first year about 20 to 25 points. Good passer, surprising release, very good on the forecheck and would beat out Jake and Loui for second line spot. I also said if he is third line that is good for Canucks because that would mean we got better forwards from somewhere.
I don't know if I was Canucks if I would sign another Russian committed for three years. - VANTEL
I said I expected to see Podkolzin be a decent contributor by his 3rd year., he is developing some bad tendency, but who wouldn't, playing with some of the biggest trash pile of stars, ever assembled in league history.
I would prefer if they put these young kids in the AHL, before they are ruined permanently.

That World Cup game today was more exciting than the past couple of seasons of Canucks hockey. |

Per sources of Avs
Avalanche former late first round pick Oskar Olausson is playing tonight for purpose of Canucks scouting him.
Plus there is a scheduled meeting of Canucks and Avalanche's GM's to take place. |

Yes, because 1-0 games, multiple times, is always so exciting. 🥱 |

Kind of a real lame generic answer.
I've seen some incredible 1-0 hockey games.
I also saw a 7-0 soccer game today.
Also a lot of people seemed to be entertained with Canada's 1-0 loss today. |

I can't say I've seen him play since world juniors last year but unless he has taken some real development steps, I would probably put him behind Lekkerimaki on the prospect depth chart.
Olausson’s best weapon is his shot, it is heavy and accurate. His playmaking and vision may be limiting or below average for a top-six NHL forward, but he will play his rookie season in the AHL and try to prove he is a prospect on the rise.
This may also explain the Canucks reason for him. Can't ever have enough shooters. |

It was an entertaining game today. Canada plays a nice style.
Also, there was more physicality in this 1 soccer game today, than I have seen in the past season and a half from the Canucks. |

The 1 time I saw him, I didn't like him then. He must be part of the package for Bo and/or Demko |

I like Italian soccer, that's what league my fav team plays in. That's very controlling and defensive style. I also really like Dutch style which is the complete opposite, run and gun offence. |

Yeah, I wouldn't like a trade unless he was a throw in.
Colorado got rid of all their good prospects and a ton of picks last season. Already got their 6th round pick from 2020 for free.
I can't even make up a trade I would honestly like from them except for their next 3 first round picks. |

So that swedish weakling + 1st for Horvat is probably what gets it done |

Pretty underwhelming return, if that was the trade, at least get Keaton Middleton as well. |

Management should be fired if they say no to Chytil, Lundqvist and a 1st for Miller, but yes to Olausson and a 1st for Bo |
