I'm not sure that's going to happen, Bo will get signed at the last minute. - VanHockeyGuy
Not trading him unless it’s something they can’t refuse, ask high if not sign him. |

That was a crafty goal by petey, he makes plays and reads the play so well that not many can do. |

Imagine if Van could find a 2lc that could play the same way. Not even to Petey's exact level but the same way. |

Interesting that they have Allen not even in the top 32. He was thought of as a top 10 talent. - Retinalz
I haven’t watched him but have read some really bad reviews. He is falling hard but it’s still early |

Interesting comment from Demko post Sharks game…
Even before they were piling in around him Sunday night, Demko knew teammates had his back.
“We're all so close in here,” he said. “Especially since just how things have been going. . . to get it going, it's a great feeling in here. Everyone's happy for each other when we succeed.”
We talk loads about locker room issues with the Canucks, but maybe that’s all BS. - bloatedmosquito
It’s usually the way things are overblown and added drama.
A team sometimes comes together on how to play better when facing adversity. So much has been said about blowing them up maybe the players are bonding more now.

I've read he was expected to have amazing offensive numbers this year, but his team has sucked, and he hasn't produced as expected. Maybe his fall is partially due to a poorly built team? Or is the team not as good as it should be because he hasn't taken that step forward as expected? |

Bob Ross painting a mail box? A voting mail box? Bob Ross died July 4, 1995, or numerically 4/6/1995 (if you're going by the original Freemasons/Illuminati way of writing it), or rather 461,995 – the EXACT number of votes Biden won (stole) by in Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania combined. Coincidence? Impossible. I think Q is trying to say something.... the truth is out there |

He isn't the type of defenseman this team needs, although he will be decent, I believe the team needs some defenders with a bit of a bite/physicality. |

We have agreed to terms with forward Alex Galchenyuk for a one-year contract for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
Well at least they won a cup. |

Do most believe the Canuck winning streak is just an illusion?
Does anyone think it possible the Canucks are finding their way to being competitive? |

The raw production, Kuzmenko-Pettersson-Mikheyev have been on the ice for 14 Vancouver goals, the third-highest total by any line in the league. They are tops in league per goals per minute and goals against a slim 1.82, good enough for 26th best in the league overall.
Meaning they are the top line on Canucks despiste Bo and JTM’s production.
So does that give anyone pause on the sell off? If anything shouldn’t Kuzmenko be extended before Canucks are priced out? |

So,in the bottom end of supposed top lines
Ya, Kuzmenko needs to be high priority, 8 x 6.855 sounds reasonable. Should be able to convince Bo that a reasonable cap hit for him is the 3 .65 of the remaining cap.
Also, when getting info from another site, it is usually courtesy to acknowledge the information source. |

Not necessarily. 26th in the league for every line, not just top lines, so that includes shutdown lines. Not every team's top line is good at keeping the puck out of the net *cough cough McDavid*
From Athletic:
Pettersson’s tied with Sidney Crosby and Jason Robertson for an NHL-leading 10 five-on-five goals.
The Pettersson, Kuzmenko, Mikheyev line has been on the ice for 14 goals and just four against. They won’t shoot 19 percent as a trio forever, but they’re genuinely throttling opponents by controlling a dominant 59.4 percent share of expected goals. |

Not bottom end for defensive lines league wide there are 128 lines so they are top 30 defensively and tops offensively.
Obviously I didn’t compile the stats but just complied the info together for comment on them for further discussion. Anyway I guess it’s not thought possible about keeping players. For some it’s only one course to take. |

When that department was formed in 2014, the landscape of hockey research was much different than it is today. At the time, it was probably easier to grab low-hanging fruit: Big players were overvalued, small players were undervalued, and teams signed players to contracts coming off career-high seasons in shooting percentage. Teams wasted roster spots on fighters, and they wasted draft picks on tall players who could dunk a basketball but offer little on the ice.
Cam Charron talking about him joining the TML in 2014. Contract was not renewed due to the things he mentioned are a thing of the past and everything is much more detailed nowadays. |

According to Canucks Army:
“A total of 14 goals on 96 shots gives this line a collective shooting percentage of 14.6%”
What’s surprising is that Kuz and Mik were thought of as 3rd liners. But when put together with Petey they are one of the top lines in the league so far.
If anything this should give some pause to a sell off as the additions are showing progress.
Even JTM has cleaned up his numbers and paired with Bo are more effective.
So if goaltending improves continued with new defensive pairings the GAA should go down. Means more wins are possible and less blown leads.

One of the things that's so crazy about the stats you're talking about is how far clear of the other top lines they are:
