Horvat IMO haș just never been quite in the same category as Hintz or Hertl. He might be for the past 30 games but as Vintage keeps saying he's shooting at a career high right now, by 10%.

Let that be someone else. Horvat isn't an 8M a season center. Not even with the cap increasing in the next 5 years. Maybe in year 6 after it hits like 92M a year he could be worth 8M but by then he's worth 5M

At the end of the day, the pressure is on VAN in either scenario with Horvat.

JR's playing this like Lamorello, time is not his friend in this instance.

That was something else I had thought about is it's hard to find out what's available, if you don't know your suitors. Time to asses the players in their system, where you might be picking. I think a lot of these trades happen over a month or more a lot of the time.

How many times can they bring the same players back and expect different results? They know they have very little in the prospect system for help except maybe a bottom 6 forward.

If Bo scores 40 or more this year it pushes him to 1C status. That's how his agent will approach it. Odd that's it's happening in his contract year lol. Nothing to see there I guess.

Remember this guy named Hank no one thought was a 1C then around Bo’s age now he hit his stride.

Either they sign Bo to a hometown discount or he gets traded for a bundle before TDL.

If anything CAR would be a perfect fit for Bo. Would give them a killer 1-2-3 punch down the middle for Centres and he'd probably get his cup there lol
