Carol Schram: Winning Canucks send down Podkolzin, Rathbone as homestand begins After snagging all six available points on their recent road trip, the Vancouver Canucks are now settling in for a four-game homestand. To free up roster spots, they've assigned forward Vasily Podkolzin and defenseman Jack Rathbone to AHL Abbotsford.

Sure he isn’t an assist machine but he can score. By the way Hank “crested the PPG threshold for the first time in 2008/09 at the age of 28, one year older than Horvat is now” per Canuck army.

Bo has never crested the PPG mark. Over the first 21 games he has this season shooting 10% over his career average.

Well, that's what happens when you become a way better player over the course of a summer - miraculously.

If you ask me - he should have 7-8 more goals than he currently has.

Nobody over a 5 year span has shot over 20%. Somehow you think that is going to be sustainable for Horvat.

Studnicka stayed out late on the ice after morning skate, leading me to believe that Mikheyev being absent is likely just for maintenance. We’ll hear from Bruce Boudreau shortly. #Canucks
