I was so happy when it looked like Schenn called out JTM for his lack of effort earlier this season. We all saw JTMs laziness and lack of attention to detail. That’s unacceptable for a team leader. Yet no one within the org was saying poop about it. Everyone else got hit with criticism, especially Bruce. But JTM seemed to get a pass. Good on Schenn if he actually did call out JTM.

Plus, what’s the point of trading Schenn now? His contract ain’t an issue and his return will be minimal. Talk about low baring fruit. This franchise is so frustrating.

Schenn has two cups and regardless of his contribution to them he know what it takes to win in the league. There is zero point in trading Schenn when he is our only link to team toughness or effort at this point. Bo seems to be leading a bit better...but like JTM last year is also playing for the big payday. Petey's play should be an indicator as to where some solid effort and leadership are coming from as well. We talk about the Bo/JTM thing alot but man Petey is hitting another gear in so many different facets.

Yes, I think FA cares greatly about winning in the POs. That’s why he’s meddling (supposedly) and insisting that this team spends to the limit to achieve that goal. If it was all about revenue then the team would not be up against the cap season after season.

Millionaires buying pro sports franchises is an ego thing. These guys don’t purchase sports franchises to make loads of money. They do it to feed their ego and that’s it.
