I don’t think the Chinese have admitted anything, but there was a great article in Vanity Fair on the wuhan lab leak that was very interesting. Check it out if you haven’t already. It’s really well written and it definitely points to some sort of mishap.

This is a popular knot for big game fish when you need to join two lines together with loops like mono to braided, backing to fly line. It wont fail. We are talking big fish... not Coho. Like Marlin, big Tarpon, Grouper, hell even huge Chinook in fast water like the Skeena where just just downstream of the Kalum you may hook a 70 pounder in deep water that is moving 12 kmh... I used it for that and Tarpon in Mexico. It's a standard among the guides.
