Not if they’re fixated on mainly getting roster players in return. If they just signed Miller and just made Bo one final offer last week, what does that tell you?

No rebuild, we continue the “wtf are they doing” plan

Wasn’t in Dreger or Seravelli last summer who said that other teams have no idea what direction/plan the Canucks are operating under?

I’m still of the opinion that not enough time has passed to truly understand what their long term plans are. Clearly in the short term they are giving the current coach and roster enough rope to see if they can replicate the second half of last season. Which obviously they cannot.

I would be astonished if they haven’t made significant roster changes by the end of the season. If they haven’t, the hate will get significantly elevated by me.

In a league where teams are afraid to trade for guys signed for more than 2-3 year deals, I wonder how many would line up to trade for a 30 year old signed for 7 more years and how many owners would sign off on acquiring that contract?

They don't have long term plans, the plan is to make the playoffs the same plan as every year.
