Can you blame him? The Canucks have been a dumpster fire for 95% of his career and they’re headed that way again this year. The guy probably wants to be part of a more functional organization.

All a player can do is control what he does, which Horvat’s done. He’s a good player, I’m not a huge fan of his but he’s scoring goals taking those important draws.

The organization has failed the players by continually chasing something that doesn’t appear attainable for this group. At some point he’s gotta say to himself that maybe a change of scenery is in order. Things change…

I personally think Horvat’s part of the problem, not the solution.

Agreed.
If I am him, I wouldn't be accepting offers with this team period.
Force the issue and get out while you can, same goes for Pouty.
2 good players that would thrive even Moreso in an organization with culture and direction, as well as good coaching.

After Hank and Dank lost a step, I always wondered why coaches didn't put them on separate lines when they were trying to compete. Fans may not have the experience or expertise that coaches/management do, but we see things the way they never will be able to. Purely because they are stubborn and prefer the status quo.
